Paul Mercs Concerts is pleased to announce Denzal Sinclaire as the support act for Grammy® Award-winning jazz singer and pianist Diana Krall at the Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall in Portland, OR on Friday, August 31, 2012.
Vocalist, pianist and percussionist Denzal Sinclaire is a multiple JUNO Award nominee, recipient of the 2004 National Jazz Award for “Best Album”, and four-time recipient of the Jazz Report Magazine Award for Male Jazz Vocalist. He has graced the stages of numerous concert halls and festivals around the world and has appeared on Late Night with Conan O’Brien, Jimmy Kimmel Live, Bravo TV and Canada AM.
From his early days as a canny interpreter of Nat King Cole’s crooning, Denzal Sinclaire has grown into one of the most distinctive and individualistic singers anywhere.

Video Games Live Returns With A New Show - CANADIAN DATES ANNOUNCED
Paul Mercs Concerts is pleased to present Canadian tour dates for Video Games Live. Created and produced by industry veteran and world-famous video game composer Tommy Tallarico, Video Games Live is an immersive concert event featuring music from the greatest video games of all time.
Video Games Live bridges a gap for entertainment by exposing new generations of music lovers and fans to the symphonic orchestral experience while also providing a completely new and unique experience for families and non-gamers. With performances in front of hundreds of thousands of people on five continents, the show is heralded and enjoyed by the entire family. Video Games Live is the largest and most successful video game concert in the world.
In October 2012, Video Games Live will return to Canada with a new show. All new segments will include music from Final Fantasy, Zelda, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, Pokemon, Warcraft, Diablo III, Earthworm Jim, Mass Effect and more.

JESSE COOK TO TAPE TELEVISION SPECIAL AT THE ROSE THEATRE BRAMPTON
Vancouver, BC ~ Contemporary guitar phenomenon, composer and producer Jesse Cook will be filming a live performance for a television special at The Rose Theatre Brampton in Brampton, Ontario on Wednesday, May 2, 2012 at 7:30pm.
Cook is a JUNO Award recipient and three-time winner of the Canadian Smooth Jazz Award for “Guitarist of the Year”. With seven studio albums in fifteen years, he has developed an international following. His DVD, The Rumba Foundation, which premiered on PBS, celebrated some of World Music’s elite artists and showcased Cook’s skills as a musician and performer. His last studio effort, The Rumba Foundation, debuted at #1 on iTunes Canada.

Paul Mercs Concerts is pleased to present Grammy® Award-winning jazz singer and pianist Diana Krall at the Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall in Portland, OR on Friday, August 31, 2012.
Krall kicks off Grammy® week with a string of special performances. On February 9, she joined Paul McCartney to commemorate the release of his new album, Kisses on the Bottom, with a once-in-a-lifetime live streaming performance that took place at the famed Capitol Studios, where much of the new album was created.
On February 10, Diana Krall performs three songs at one of the most prestigious events held during Grammy® week, the MusiCares® Person of the Year tribute, which will celebrate McCartney’s artistic achievements and philanthropic work.
Krall caps off the week with a performance at the 54th Annual Grammy® Awards, which will take place on Sunday, February 12 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles and will be broadcast live on CBS Television from 8:00pm-11:30pm EST/PST.
Since the release of her 2009 Grammy Award-winning album Quiet Nights, Diana Krall has been travelling the globe, touring in Canada, Europe, UK, USA, Russia, Australia, South America and the Middle East. In addition to her touring and appearance schedule, the acclaimed artist took a short break to produce her first record for another artist – Barbra Streisand’s Love Is the Answer – which debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200 chart upon its release.

Fifteen-time Grammy Award winner, Member of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Member of the Blues Hall of Fame, B.B. King is inarguably the most imitated of living blues guitarists. His influence on music around the world is incalculable.
Since B.B. King started recording in the late 1940s, he has released over sixty albums, many of them considered blues classics. He developed one of the world’s most readily-identified guitar styles. B.B. King has mixed traditional blues, jazz, swing, mainstream pop, and jump into a unique sound. His singing is richly melodic, both vocally and in the “singing” that comes from his guitar, ‘Lucille’.
